Streamline New Concept Development

One of the most productive application areas for RANS is for design of concepts where little or no previous experience exists.  Ship and aircraft design have gotten to today’s level of sophistication only after decades of model tests and design trial and error.  While that painful process can never be fully avoided, RANS can streamline it by building an experience base much faster.  With AFT’s unique ability to perform hundreds of RANS simulations per month, design databases can now be quickly and efficiently populated.
